On July 1, 2019, nearly 200 people gathered for the second annual Brooks Strong Invitational Golf Tournament and dinner at the beautiful Chicago Highlands Club, raising more than $70,000 in support of kids with cancer. Thank you to all who were able to attend this fun annual tradition.

Brooks Strong Memorial baseball Tournament
The Brooks Tonn Memorial Baseball Tournament was created in memory of Brooks by his teammates and coaches. Now hosted by the Devils Baseball Club, this year’s second annual tournament saw 13 teams (Brooks’ number) of eleven year-olds compete. While everyone certainly wanted to win, the sense of camaraderie was evident throughout the week. All players wore Brooks’ signature turquoise Brooks Strong socks, so even though they were competing, they never forgot they were on the same team raising funds for kids with cancer.
Congratulations to the Barrington Broncos Red Team, coached by Todd Fryer, who were this year’s champions!

Come raise a glass to celebrate the mission of the Brooks Strong Foundation and the life of the boy who inspired it. Please join us at our festive, annual gathering. Mingle with friends, new and old, while enjoying cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a fabulous raffle benefiting the Brooks Strong Foundation. Together we can truly make a difference in the lives of kids going through cancer.
